AO-ACTIVATOR
DESCRIPTION
AO-Activator is a gellant for organophilic clay in oil-based systems. Packaging is in 5 gal pails or 55 gal drums.
FEATURES
- Enhances the low shear rate viscosity of organophilic clay in oil-based drilling systems
- Very efficient in low aromatic content hydrocarbons
- Easily dispersed with standard mixing equipment
- Economical and very effective in small concentrations
- AO-Activator can be emulsified with AO-Coupler to provide an enhanced oil phase
- Typical concentrations range from 0.10 - 0.30 gal/bbl
