Fracsal Waterbase MP consists of a specifically sized, sparingly-soluble borate crosslinking agent suspended in an aqueous solution. The standard concentration for Fracsal Waterbase MP is 1 to 3 gal per 1,000 gal of fracturing fluid. Crosslink times range from 2 to 6 minutes, depending upon the pH, temperature, and type of polymer-based fracturing fluid system. Fracsal Waterbase MP packaging can be customized to meet specific requirements.
